The damage caused by extreme weather events such as storms, floods for coastal communities in Vietnam is significant each year. Total loss in agricultural sector from the most recent storm climbed to VND 8.77 billion by typhoon no.8 2012. Objective of this study is to investigate climate change adaptation strategies for the livelihoods of coastal communities in Rang Dong town, Nghia Hung district, Nam Dinh province, Vietnam.

We selected the best version of synthesized MagSi nano (code M1) and optimised buffers including Lysis Buffer (code LB2) and Binding Buffer (code BB2) for extracting DNA from FFPE tissues with highest DNA recovery (84 - 103 ng/ml) and good purity (A260/A280 around 1.8 - 2.0). The XRD analysis indicated that both spinel CoFe2O4 (CFO) and perovskite BiFeO3 (BFO) phase simultaneously exist in the sintered composite. Absorption spectra showed the optical band gap of these composites decreases slightly with the increase of CFO concentration.
