  • The provisions on human rights and civil rights in the 2013 Constitution have marked a progress in constitutional reform. However, the implementation of constitutional rights have still faced many challenges in practice. One of these challenges is inappropriate awareness on human rights of public actors as well as the people. A rights-based approach, an approach that pays equal attention to what should be done and to how it should be done, will contribute to better constitutional rights realization by raising both awareness of right-holders and the sense of responsibility of duty bearers

  • These days, mental illness is quite common and a major source of distress in people's lives, affecting the health and well-being of society as a whole. A behavioral or mental pattern that significantly impairs one's ability to function or causes considerable discomfort is referred to as mental illness, sometimes known as a psychiatric disorder. Another symptom of a mental illness is a clinically significant disruption in a person's behavior, emotion control, or thought processes, frequently in social situations. These disruptions might manifest as isolated incidents, ongoing, or relapsing-remitting. The prevalence of depression in particular and mental health issues in general among...

  • The issue of migrant workers’ rights has been a difficult challenge for ASEAN to address. Many commentators pointed out the inadequacies of ASEAN’s governance on this issue, such as the lack of legally binding regional instruments which are compatible with international labour standards; the absence of an enforcement mechanism; the poor protection of migrant labourers’ rights in its member states. These shortcomings are the consequences of the “ASEAN way” approach which is based on the principles of sovereignty, non-interference on internal affairs and consensus on decision-making, combined with the incompatibility innational interests amongdifferent member states. However, it is unre...

  • Herbal extract, rich with natural compounds, has been used for medicinal purpose such as treating neurological disorders such as cognitive defection for a long period of time, often without significant adverse effects. We compared AChE and BuChE – inhibition effect of total extracts and fractions of Huperzia serrata (Thunb.) Trevis. with alcaloid-rich extract. Our samples were subjected under supersonic extraction with ethanol 50o as solvent and fractionally extracted with nhexane, EtOAc and n-butanol, respectively; alcaloid-rich extract was collected simutaneously. Ellman’s method was used to assay AChE and BuChE inhibition activity. Results: Alcaloid-rich extraction proved to be the...

  • Since Doi Moi Reform in 1986, with the creation of constitutions in more and more complete way, there has been an increasing change in awareness of constitutional law. Even so, there is still an inadequate comprehension of subject and objectives of the Constitution, as well as responsibility of state actor in implementation that may be shown in the new 2013 Constitutions regulations and its spirit.

  • The Central Highlands in Vietnam are well known for their large basalt plateau and their natural touristic resources with impressive landforms, such as ancient volcanoes, lakes and waterfalls, which are the result of volcanic activities, and of which the waterfalls are especially spectacular scenically. The Dray Nur and Dray Sap waterfalls located on the Serepok River of Dak Lak and Dak Nong provinces, respectively, are remarkable landscapes with a significant aesthetic value. Not only are these waterfalls well known as tourist attractions, they are also noted for a system of impressive geological objects, including basalt columns beneath torrential waterfalls, contemporaneous columna...

Since Doi Moi, the parliamentary activity of the Vietnam National Assembly has increasingly shifted from “presentation to debate”. Besides achievements, the National Assembly also faces...

  • 17 samples collected from two drill holes (QO.01 and QO.03) at Quoc Oai (Hanoi) were analysed the main chemical compositions in oxides SiO2, TiO2, Al2O3, Fe2O3, MnO, MgO, CaO, Na2O, K2O by XRF method and some trace metal elements such as As, Cu, Pb, Zn, Sb, V, Cr, Ni, Cd by AAS method. According to these results, content of SiO2, Al 2O3, Fe2O3 are the highest, the next is K2O, TiO2and the other oxides are very low. The sediments in the Vinh Phuc formation have rich Fe 2O3by laterization, whereas those in the Hai Hung formation have rich K2O by the potassium-absorption in the organic matters. In thesediments, there are close relationship between the alkaline and alkaline earth elem...

  • Zinc aluminum hydrotalcite containing 2-benzothiazolythio-succinic acid (HT-BTSA) and modified by 2-aminoethyl-3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane (APS) at different concentrations (3%, 5% and 10%). APS modified HT-BTSA (HT-BTSA-S) was incorporated in epoxy coatings at 3% concentration. The corrosion protective performance of the epoxy coatings containing HT-BTSA-S were evaluated by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, adhesion measurement. The results showed that the presence of HT-BTSA-S improved protection performance of epoxy coating and the best protection was obtained with HT-BTSA modified with 5 % APS.

  • Although there has not been a reform like executive and judicial power , since the “Doi Moi” reform until now, the National Assembly - the legislative branch of Vietnamese government has achieved certain successes, but to implement 2013 Constitution better, there ‘s still a lot of work to do. First of all, we have to change our awareness: Legislative power is not simply the right to adopt a law, but also the right to suspend law drafting when the laws do not express the will of the people, nor do they reflect objective movement of society.

Paleoclimate data can also test the accuracy of current circulation models. The contribution of paleoclimatic studies is important for human life because the climate has undenied effects on human activities through agriculture, biological system, and environmental quality.
