  • An enzyme-free glucose sensor has been developed based on electrodeposited gold nanoparticles modified screen-printed carbon electrode (SPCE). The combination of electrodeposited gold nanoparticles and SPCE, makesthe device compact, low cost, and reliable enzyme-free glucose sensor. Gold nanoparticles weredirectly synthesized via electrochemical deposition method on carbon surface from HAuCl 4solution. The gold nanoparticles electrodeposited on the surface of SPCE was observed by SEM. The gold nanoparticles modified SPCE were successfully used for the sensing of glucose. This enzyme free sensor showed wide linear range with the glucose concentration from 0.5 ÷ 8.5 mM and sensi...

  • Graphene-based composites have received a great deal of attention in recent year because the presence of graphene can enhance the conductivity, strength of bulk materials and help create composites with superior qualities. Moreover, the incorporation of metal oxide nanoparticles such as Fe3O4 can improve the catalytic efficiency of composite material. In this work, we have synthesized a composite material with the combination of reduced graphene oxide (rGO), and Fe3O4 modified tissue-paper (mGO-PP) via a simple hydrothermal method, which improved the removal efficiency of the of methylene blue (MB) in water. MB blue is used as the model of contaminant to evaluate the catalytic ...

  • From 1980s, the successful commercialization of Lithium-ion battery (LIB) has advanced the production of portable electronics such as laptops, mobile phones, cameras by the development of Information Technology (IT). This evolution led to a demand for rechargeable batteries with greater capacities, higher energy density, and a reduction in size and weight. Lead-acid, nickel-cadmium, and nickel-metal hydride batteries are some conventional rechargeable batteries which were available for development. They used aqueous electrolytes, which limit the increase of energy density and the reducing of size and weight. Therefore, there has been a crucial need for new, small, and lightweight batt...
