dc.description.abstractFire robots and rescue vehicles have long played an important role in protecting human life and property from the risk of fire and explosion. With the development of science and technology, autonomous fire robots – a combination of automation technology and remote control systems – have opened up a promising new direction, bringing higher efficiency and safety in rescue and firefighting. Different from traditional fire robots, autonomous fire robots are equipped with advanced features such as automatic operation or remote control, allowing fire fighting tasks to be carried out without direct human intervention. The robots will reduce the risk of injury for firefighters and possible victims and minimize the monitory losses which increase considerably as fire duration increases.vi
