  • This thesis aimed to evaluate the influencing factors on the performance of manufacturing firms listed on the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) and Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HOSE). Data was collected on 160 manufacturing firms listed on the HNX and HOSE from 2015 to 2022. The thesis uses mixed research method, both qualitative and quantitative. For the quantitative research method, the supporting tool are Excel and Stata 13 software.   • This thesis was conducted to identify factors affecting the application of the performancebased budgeting model in retail enterprises in Viet Nam. To accomplish research objectives, I had identified required contents of PBB, problems facing retail enterprises in following PBB policy. Previous studies on this field were reviewed to build a relevant analytical framework.   • The objective of this study is to examine the impact of capital structure and ownership structure on the profitability of enterprises listed on the Vietnamese stock markets from 2010 to 2022, including both linear and nonlinear relationships. The research used three regression analysis models, including Pooled OLS, Fixed Effect, Random Effect, and GMM, based on panel data obtained from a sample of 587 publicly listed firms. The findings suggest that there is a negative correlation between debt levels and corporate profitability.   • This study examines the effects of ownership structure on firm performance of companies listed on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange and Hanoi Stock Exchange using the system-GMM estimator. The empirical results show a negative relationship between state ownership and firm performance, support for the privatization policy, meanwhile block ownership has no impact on firm performance.
