The study titled “A comparative study on grammatical subject as a clause element in English and Vietnamese from perspective of systemic- functional grammar” is intended to examine the grammatical subject in English and Vietnamese, using Halliday’s Systemic Functional Grammar theory. Its aim is to show the similarities and differences between grammatical subjects in the two languages.
